Granulometric stabilization of laterites from Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba for use in base course

The present article presents the study of three laterites from Triãngulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba region, aiming to use it as a pavement base. methodology used consisted carrying out tests prescribed by DNIT 098/2007 standard and, complementary methodology, linear contraction, MCT classification, modulus resilience X-ray diffractometry were introduced. Four mixtures laterite with sand prepared correct plasticity materials. Three samples four showed equivalent values lower than 30%, showing that this is characteristic in region. Only mixture LatJ3+A4 (70x30) presented greater but sample worst indicators relation other mixtures.
